Lately, I've gotten a lot of requests to do art. And while that's fun, it also eats away my time.
And now that my co-workers are also asking me for drawings, I've had to put my foot down.
No more free requests, at least for now. I'm gonna have to charge money from now on. Not a huge price, but at least a little something to help fund my plane ticket home, plus expenses of simply living as a decent human being.

I'm on team awoo after being randomly sorted. Becauuuuuse I wasn't vibing with either of em. Not sure how many here still post (I will never catch up to the inbox, you deserve better!) and read journals- but I am once again here, doing art fight! So here's my card! I drew my own this year! ^^
Possible scam alert
Someone claiming to be from America, employed in Yemen on a peacekeeping mission, contacted me. They claimed to be a surgeon, but their grammar is pretty poor. I did a quick search and found that there is a scam running (primarily on dating sites) where people claim to be surgeons/peacekeepers who are surgeons, employed in Yemen, and then ask you for your information, then later after they gain your trust, they ask for money for vacation pay or a visa. The thing is. The UN doesn't send doctors to Yemen, due to the current risks. So, a fairly new member to our website faved a bunch of my art, then within the same minute sent me a chat request with this starting message (I'm omitting the name but you can ask me in notes). I already got some weird red flags since I had watched James Veitch talking about scammers(is a fun watch regardless). So after I searched and got Quora talking about this being a thing, I stopped replying and blocked them. Since they wanted to know my name.
Buzzing with excitement?
Hey everyone! My friend @Arvata has tipped me, and everyone, about this new artsite named https://buzzly.art/ The site has it's own look, but it feels more like dA pre-eclipse. I want to give it a shot. So I'll be cross posting, so both on dA and on buzzly. Though I will be re-posting some recent art from dA over on buzzly to not have a completely empty gallery. XD I have no plans of deleting my dA, ever, since while I have some issues with this site. It's still the first art site that I ever used. I have some of my oldest pieces here. And I'll need a hefty external hard drive to copy down and preserve all of it.
