This picture has Squit as he was in the old canon of the story.
In it, you could actually mix races and get hybrids.
Konac males (Squit's half) could make other males pregnant because their sperm activates hormones and lots of stupid stuff.
The other race males were able to get knocked up by them. (I'm sure I had a good reason when I was 17. XD)

In the new canon, konac males are hemaphrodites, who have both wombs, eggs and sperm, so they can still do it. But as in the old one, there is no exit for the kid, so it's still risky buisness.
And to answer why they're herms, the females left the males for a few centuries, so the males evolved into herms. But I call them incomplete herms, since they don't have vaginas.

Oh where to start?

I can start by telling you who the people are.

Left to right:
Squit, Amir, Axel and Damian.

Squit and Amir are mine, while Axel and Damian belong to this super-awesome old friend of mine.
We had a falling out, but she's still awesome even though we don't talk anymore. :3

She and I used to have these 8-12 hours long RP sessions with over 70 characters. And I have yet to find ANYONE who can come close to matching her. ; ^ ;
Basically, we would live-improvise these stories, writing down nothing! Usually did this on weekends and all through longer holidays. ...We kept this up for about 8-10 years.

Normally, we would focus on only a few characters. But even background characters got special treatment from us.

Now Squit is really old. He's from 2002, from before I knew what the internet was. And through the RP, he got a family and lots of other stuff.
But he started out as a teenager, or 20'ish actually.
The funfact about Axel is that Squit didn't like him at first, because he always felt uncomfortable around darkskinned people.
(Which was because of something else that has to do with Squit's past and sexual abuse from his mother.)
So when Axel made his approach, Squit was very hesitant. But if I remember correctly, Zack, Keali (whatta?), Na and the others, who were with Squit in a bar, kind of went "you racist of sumthin'?" at Squit, so he willed himself to get over himself.

And wouldn't you know it, it worked! So they started dating, eventually getting married.

...Then Squit knocked poor Axel up. A year later, Axel almost delivers in their SUV on the way to the hospital. Well, I say almost, but it was more like his water broke. ^ ^;
They got two adorable twins, who got a mix of their daddies's genes.
-Amir got the konac genes, which made him more aware of his surroundings when he first came out. (I think he climbed the doctor's arm as he was taken out of Axel's stomach through C section.)
-And Damian got more of my friend's race, which is what Axel is.
Amir also got his dad's tail, but I'm pretty sure Damian's been drawn with the same tail too.^ ^
And usually, the twins are drawn with dreads, but I suck at them, proven by Axel's hairstyle.

Konacs might be very agile and aware from day 1, but they grow into puberty SUPER slow. And Amir didn't learn to talk until he was at least 2 years old. While Damian, being more "normal", started talking around 6 months. That is, normal for Axel's race.^ ^

In this picture, Amir is basically trying to tell Squit that there's something weird being pointed at them (The camera) but all that's coming out is: "Dada, badashuu, badashuji!" And Squit is just trying to will his son to sit still.
Damian is being a little angel.

And sorry, only flats. I'm not in the mood for shading anything. I might update this with a shaded version, but then again... I might not!
